Gary Phillip Miskovsky Sr. Born December 18, 1938 in Oklahoma City passed away on May 4, 2018 at The University of Oklahoma Medical Center due to complications from pneumonia. Gary was the son of prominent Oklahoma City lawyer and politician, George Miskovsky Sr. and his wife, Nelly Miskovsky. Self-employed, he enjoyed physical fitness and sports. He played several seasons with the Oklahoma City Falcons, a semi-professional football team in the 1960s and 70s. Gary was very active in little league coaching for both football and baseball, taking several of his teams on to the league champions. His impact on the players that he coached was evident by the many players that contacted him years later. Gary’s biggest passion besides his sons and grandchildren was travel. He traveled extensively through the United States and Europe. He was always up to a good road trip. One of his favorite trips was exploring Cairo and the Great Pyramids. Generous by nature, Gary was always bearing gifts for his grandchildren who always looked forward to his visits, and they were many. Regardless of where his Army brat grandchildren were stationed, he always made all special events and more. Gary was preceded in death by his son, Gates Allen Miskovsky. Gary is survived by Gary Phillip Miskovsky, Jr (son), Jeanne Miskovsky (daughter-in-law), Gary Phillip Miskovsky III (grandson), Gabrielle Olivia Miskovsky (granddaughter), Gillian Rose Miskovsky (granddaughter), Grace Anne Miskovsky (granddaughter) Leann Noguera (granddaughter), Grover Miskovsky (brother), Gail Trice (sister) and many hanyak nieces and nephews.
