George was a lover of the great outdoors all of his life. He was like a man born into the wrong century. He never wanted to have a cell phone or computer. He was happiest when he was in touch with his natural environment; spending time with his friends hunting, fishing, and gardening. He shared his game, fish and vegetables with his friends and family, and enjoyed cooking for them when he had a chance. He was always willing to help his friends who needed him with no expectation of repayment. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
