Heather graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. From there, Heather joined the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force Heather was a combat medic. She was medically discharged and moved back to Oklahoma City where she met her husband, Paul, who was stationed at Fort Sill. For the next 9 years, Paul and Heather spent a wonderful marriage together raising her two children, Malacai and Micah.
Heather loved her Brothers-In-Arms, animals, and her family.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Drapeau; son, Malacai; daughter, Micah; father, Joe Putnam; mother, Peggy Johnson; sister, Audra Johns; and a host of loving extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Heather’s Life will be held Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 2:00pm at the Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel; 13313 N Kelley Ave; Oklahoma City, OK 73131, with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
