Hoa Thi Doran

Hoa Thi Doran, 69 of Edmond, OK, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Born on April 6, 1956, in Vietnam, Hoa immigrated to the United States with her family in 1974, carrying with her a fierce determination to build a better life. With strength, resilience, and unwavering love, she created a beautiful life rooted in family, joy and hard work. Hoa was married to the love of her life, Paul David Doran for nearly 37 years. Together, they shared a passion for plants and fish that transformed their home into what many lovingly called a tropical paradise. Their shared love blossomed into a family business, where joy, dedication, and beauty thrived hand in hand. When knee deep in soil or wading through pond water, Hoa poured her heart into anything she touched. At the end of a long day at the farm, she found joy in sipping pina coladas or cherry limeades with Paul and Tai. She treasured time spent cheering on her grandchildren, band competitions, volleyball and basketball games, bowling tournaments, dance and piano recitals, and choir concerts.

Hoa’s generous spirit extended beyond her family. She lovingly volunteered her time at her children’s indoor playground business, where her warm smile, playful energy, and joyful presence left a lasting impression on every child and parent who met her. To know Hoa was to love her. Her kindness, humor, and radiant positivity made every room brighter and every heart lighter.

She is survived by her loving children: Lan and Bill McCabe, Minh and Tim Weldon, Dominic and Rachel Pham, Truong and Thuy Pham; and her cherished grandchildren: Tai Pham, Abby Blosser, Kaddee Pham, Sophia McCabe, Hannah Pham, William McCabe, Alexander Weldon and Ezekiel Pham.

Hoa’s legacy of love, laughter, and beauty will live on in all who knew her.

A visitation for Hoa will be held Monday, May 5, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 13313 North Kelley, Oklahoma City, OK 73131.

A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers are Dominic Pham, Truong Pham, Tai Pham, Bill McCabe, Tim Weldon and Bob Pratt.
