Terry was born on July 21, 1936 in Oklahoma City to Howard and Lucille Taylor. He graduated from Classen High school; where he went on to join the United States Marine Corps. After serving 4 years in the military, he applied to the Oklahoma City Police Department, where he spent the following 20 years. He later went on to work many more years providing security at OG&E headquarters.
Terry is survived by his daughters, Tuesday and husband Cameron, of Edmond, OK, and Merideth and husband Greg of Springfield, MO; grandchildren, Taylor and Hannah; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Lucille Taylor of Oklahoma City, OK; brother, Bill Taylor of Mustang, OK; and sister Donna Rone of Shawnee, OK.
A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 AM on Monday, February 26, 2018, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Oklahoma City Police Sergeant C. Phillips will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Terry’s life. The Family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
