James Burnham

James lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love for his family. He retired as a Logistics Specialist at Tinker Air Force Base after many years of faithful service. He also served with the Reserve Police Force, demonstrating his commitment to helping and protecting others throughout his life. He also retired as a Commander in the Navy Reserve.

Outside of his career, James found joy in camping, antiquing, and spending time with animals. He appreciated the simple pleasures of life and enjoyed sharing his interests and adventures with family and friends.

He will be remembered for his hardworking nature, quiet strength, and the love he had for those closest to him.

James is survived by his loving family: Jana Burnham; Jena Normandin; grandson Ryan Burnham; grandson Austin James Normandin; great-grandson Noah Burnham; and great-granddaughter Eleanor Burnham.

He was preceded in death by his beloved granddaughter, Annie Grace Normandin.

James leaves behind a legacy of service, integrity, and devotion to family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13313 N. Kelly Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73131
