With broken hearts, we want to let you know that we said goodbye for now to our dad, husband of 56 years, and Granddad.
J.B. King passed peacefully Tuesday evening, June 16th, surrounded by his entire family.
He was the center of our family in so many ways. He loved big, worked hard, showed up, protected us, made us laugh, and gave us a life full of memories we will hold onto forever.
Our hearts are shattered, but we also know how blessed we were to love him and be loved by him.
A proud father, grandfather and someone who meant a great deal to so many. He lived a great life and we are the family we are because of him.
Ninety-four years is a beautiful life to honor. A Celebration of Life is planned for late July, details to be determined.
Thank you for loving him, praying for us, and holding our family close during this time.
