Jana Kay Graham

Jana Kay Graham, 75, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on March 2, 1950, in Seminole, Oklahoma, Jana was the cherished daughter of Roy and Gertrude Hendrick. She grew up with strong family values and a warm heart, eventually graduating from Putnam City High School. Her thirst for knowledge and dedication to growth led her to pursue further education at Oklahoma City University.

In 1982, she married Charles William Graham and the two had a son named Derek. Together they shared many years of companionship before parting ways in 1999. Though life brought changes, Jana’s strength and grace remained constant throughout the years.

Professionally, Jana was a dedicated technician at Lucent Technologies, where she served for 29 years with diligence and pride. After retiring from Lucent, she continued her service to others by working with the Transportation Security Administration for an additional 9 years.

Jana had a deep love for her family and found great joy in their company. Some of her happiest times were spent at the lake making a lifetime of memories, and vacationing in Florida, where the sunshine seemed to match her spirit. A devoted grandmother, she especially treasured living just half a mile from her beloved granddaughter, Alivia, whom she saw nearly every day. Their frequent outings—whether shopping sprees at Target and TJ Maxx or sharing laughs over a Starbucks coffee—were treasured moments that filled her days with joy.

Jana had an infectious smile, a generous heart, and a special way of making those around her feel seen and loved. She was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering loyalty. She was truly loved by so many and leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and cherished memories.

She is survived by her son Derek Graham and wife Alicia; Granddaughter, Alivia Graham; and Brother, Roy D. Hendrick.

Though our hearts are heavy with her passing, her light will continue to shine through all who knew and loved her. Jana will live on in the stories we share, the laughter we echo, and the love we carry forward.

A visitation will be held for Jana on Friday, June 27th, 2025 from 3:00 – 7:00 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home located at 13313 N. Kelley Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73131.
