Jean-Ciar Anton Pierce

Jean-Ciar Anton Pierce, born October 10, 1988, went to be with the Lord on August 25, 2012. Ciar is the son of Darryl Pierce and Sarah Burdine. Ciar was the proud brother of E’Lescia and big brother of Cameron and Lauren. Ciar was preceded in death by his Daddy James Burdine, grandfathers Walter Pierce and John Dilley, and grandmother Charlesetta Davenport.

Ciar was a graduate of Classen SAS and attended the University of St. Mary. He most recently worked at the Ralph Ellison Library. Ciar’s friendly demeanor made him extremely popular. Ciar truly loved his enormous family and his Stonegate, Classen SAS, St. Mary, and Camelot Friends. What we have learned through Ciar’s life, and now through his death, is that he was loved by so many people. What a comfort for us to know that Ciar’s life impacted hundreds of people.

Ciar is survived by father Darryl Pierce & wife Tanya, mother Sarah Burdine, sisters E’Lescia and Lauren and brother Cameron. Ciar is also survived by his Gram LaVonne Dilley, Uncles Joel Dilley, Aaron Dilley, Adam and wife Cindy Dilley, Nathan and wife Kristi Dilley, Ron Starr, James Valentine, Melvin and wife Detra Burdine, Aunts Levine Smith, Renee and husband Dwight Bibbs, grandparents Alphonso and Tina Burdine, and great-grandmothers Rubie Burdine and Arnetta Jackson. Ciar loved his many, many cousins: Jacob, Jonathan, Leah, Katie, Brittany, Spencer, Austin, Davonne, Dayythenn, Dayen, Dalion, Daymen, Dayyvenn, Daylen, Devin, Meagan, Morgan, Bianca, Sajun, and Blake. Ciar is survived by his loves, long time girlfriend Chatovia Lowery and daughter Janiyah. He is also survived by many wonderful relatives from the Pierce, Dilley, Burdine, and Moham Families.
