Jerri L. Jeter

Jerri was born August 11, 1930 in Oklahoma City to James and Donnella Thurman. Jerri used her administrative skill wherever her husband James Jeter was stationed. Jerri and James were married on January 20, 1952 in Oklahoma City. Jerri attended Meadowood Baptist Church with James for over 40 years.

Jerri is preceded in death by her parents James and Donnella Thurman, brother James (Bill) Thurman, husband James Jeter Jr, and son-in-law Kenneth Grade.

She is survived by her 3 daughters, Shari, Jamie and Janet; 7 grandchildren, Sherri (Jason), Michael (Maura), Kristy (Shannon), Tara, Jeffrey (Dina), Jacquelyn (Taylor), and Nina Fitzpatrick (Brendon); 2 step granddaughters, Erma (Darrell) and Elizabeth (Gabe); 26 great grandkids and 6 great-great grandkids.

A funeral service will be held at Meadowood Baptist Church, located at 2816 N Woodcrest Dr, Midwest City, OK, 73110, US. The service is scheduled for February 13, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
