Joe Freemont Gordon was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on October 5, 1940 to Doyle Roosevelt Gordon and Minnie Bell Clark Gordon. He attended Choctaw High School and after serving in the United States Army National Guard, spent many years working for Dayton Tire and Butler Sparks. Joe especially loved sitting under the shade at the lake but, above all, enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Joe is survived by his children: Jeff Gordon and wife, Margaret, of Oklahoma City; Tony Gordon of Oklahoma City; Michael Gordon and wife, Michelle, of Union City; Joe E. Gordon and wife, Charlotte, of McCloud; Michelle Rucker and husband, Tom, of McComb; Joleena Wickware and husband, Larry, of McCloud; Brother: Doyle Gordon Jr. and wife, Carla, of Oklahoma City; Sisters: Louise Gordon of Blanchard; and Georgie Mazzone and husband, Tom, of Tuttle; 20 Grandchildren; 27 Great-grandchildren; and many Nieces and Nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents: Doyle and Minnie Gordon; and Brothers: Mirl Gordon; Leroy Gordon; and Ronnie Gordon.
Joe was loved by All. His big personality and smiling face will be forever missed.
