Judith A. Killian

Judith Ann Killian passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, April 28, 2010. She was born March 28, 1947 in Oklahoma City to Thomas F. Killian Jr. and Wanda J. (Haywood) Killian. Judy spent her early years in Oklahoma City and later moved to Lawton, OK with her family where she graduated from Lawton High School in 1965.

She returned to Oklahoma City where she went to Central State University (now UCO). Later she worked at Junior’s Supper Club for many years as a cashier/bookkeeper where she made lasting friendships. Judy loved traveling, genealogy and family.

She was preceded in death by her father, stepfather Crayton Fietz, grandparents Col. Ted M. Haywood, Sadie L. Haywood, Thomas F. Killian Sr. and Glenna Killian Browder, and uncle Ted M. Haywood Jr.

She was deeply loved and will be missed by her family: mother Wanda Fietz; sister Carolyn Gallant and husband Ken and their children Rachel and Matthew; sister Mary Fietz MD and husband Michael Nord and their son Alex; brother Michael Fietz and wife Sue and their children Amanda and Ricky; brother John Fietz and wife Jill and their daughters Katelyn, Lauren and Megan.

Visitation will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 13313 N. Kelley Ave., Tuesday, May 4, 2010 from 9am-9pm, with family present 5pm-7pm. Services will be Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 2pm at Memorial Park Historic Chapel (directly across the street from the funeral home). Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association or Hospice of OK County.
