Annette served our country in the United States Army as a nurse for several years. Throughout her nursing career she’s helped thousands, working in several different hospitals. Annette spent many years in the burn unit in Georgia. She retired from nursing at Mercy where she had worked in the Neurological Orthopedic Surgical Care Unit.
Annette was very accomplished at many things and had several unique experiences, including, learning to fly an airplane as a young adult. She was a strong single mother who dedicated her life to serving others as well as caring for her daughter, who grew to be a competent strong individual as well.
She is survived by her daughter, Rachel Waldrop-Holzhauser and son-in-law, Gregg; two grandchildren, Skylar and Keegan Holzhauser; two brothers; two sisters, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended loving family members.
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2011 at the Memorial Park Historic Chapel.
