Kelly Leigh Baroomand

Kelly Baroomand, 67, of Oklahoma, passed away on December 23, 2020.

Kelly was born on August 21, 1953 to Don and Lois Townsend in Portales, New Mexico.

She attended John Marshall high school, and she went on to study Special Education at the University of Central Oklahoma.

Kelly was a loving mom. She was beautiful, intelligent, and kind. She could usually be found in her living room smoking a cigarette and drinking a route 44 soda. She was so understanding and was someone you could always talk to without judgment. Kelly was a night owl; you could show up at two in the morning just to talk and she wouldn’t think anything of it. Though she struggled with mental illness, she was one of the strongest people I’ve met. She loved her family and friends. We will miss her greatly.

Kelly was predeceased by her parents Don and Lois Townsend and her brother Don Townsend Jr.

She is survived by her sisters Robin Vaughn, Tracy Garner, son John Robinson, daughter Rachael Baroomand, daughter Elizabeth Schrimsher, grandson John Robinson III, granddaughter Michelle Robinson, granddaughter Jaydan Steele, granddaughter Aurora Schrimsher, granddaughter Victoria Enyart, granddaughter Veronica Schrimsher, great grandson Wyatt, great granddaughter Liliana, great granddaughter Aurora, and great grandson Jake.
