

She entered Heaven on 11-18-2010 after a long illness.
She grew up in Ft. Worth, TX and married M.G. Davis. In 1931 they moved to OKC and started a business and began their family. Later, in 1965, she married Al Herndon and they made their home in Southern California. She then started college and attained her Registered Nursing Degree, working in radiology until her retirement.
She was an accomplished seamstress and oil painter, winning many 1st prize ribbons for her paintings.
She traveled to Europe twice, loved cruises but the highlight of her travels was a trip to the Holy Land with her church, Chapel Hill United Methodist.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, M.G. Davis and Al Herndon, a sister, Winnie Sullivan, brother Edwin Price and two grandsons, Gibson Davis and Joe Bugg.
Survivors include a daughter Suzanne and husband Jerry Bugg, a son, Mike Davis and wife Linda, step daughter Shari Aksamitowski of Tacoma, WA. She loved her seven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was also survived by sister-in-law Ruth Davis & numerous nieces & nephews.
Even at the age of 96 she still had many friends.
A private graveside service was held Sat. Nov. 20, 2010 with Rev. Robert E. Rose, Jr. officiating. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday November 22, 201 with Rev. Rick Barton, Gunnison, CO officiating at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 2717 W. Hefner Rd., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
