Michael Dennis Doyle

A funeral service for Doyle will be held 10:00 am Friday, December 27, 2024 at Lee's Hometown Funeral Home, 1217 W Gary Blvd, Clinton, OK 73601. He will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City.

Michael Dennis Doyle transitioned from this material world 12/9/24 following prolonged health issues. Mike was born 4/12/48 in San Francisco, California to parents William and Doris Doyle. Mike and bio-mom moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and he was adopted by his maternal grandmother Prescott. Mike attended West Nichols Hills elementary and graduated from John Marshall high school in 1966. He excelled in radical notebook graphics, a wide array of artistic endeavors and enjoyed working on autos that were in constant need of tune-ups. His favorite pastime was playing pool, cruising Quick’s and hanging out at the Delta drive-in with friends. Mike joined the U.S air force 7/28/67 and was honorably discharged 9/6/68. Upon his return to civilian life he entered the construction business where he would become an expert carpenter known for precision and willingness to assist friends with “remodeling Projects” and would listen to high volume Led Zeppelin while driving a center post on a custom fence job. Mike moved to Clinton Veteran’s Hospital in 2009 where he was comfortable and met a multitude of friends through the ensuing years. He will be missed at Johnnie’s by all that would join him for a Theta and catch-up rap session.Thank you to VA hospital staff and dear friends for being there when needed. To quote Mike, “I am just trying to get through this life”. And there you have it!
