

Michael Scott McBroom, beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 70. Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on May 10, 1954, to Robert and JoAnn McBroom Sr., Mike was blessed with an abundance of talents and a big heart.
From a young age, Mike had a passion for music. Gifted with the ability to play both guitar and piano, he built an impressive collection of guitars over the years. His family often gathered to enjoy his music as he played and sang with joy and love.
Mike was a professional hairstylist who attended barber school, generously sharing his skills by giving free haircuts to family members. Outside of work, he had a love for sports, movies, and spending quality time over pizza or burgers with those he cared about.
Mike worked alongside his family in their antique business until his parents' retirement, creating cherished memories with them through the years. A lifelong dog lover, Mike always had a furry companion by his side, giving and receiving unconditional love.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and JoAnn McBroom Sr. He is survived by his brother, Robert McBroom Jr., and wife Clara; niece Michelle Simmons; grandniece Magen Davenport and husband Lane; grandniece Presley Simmons; grandnephew Brady Simmons; great-grandnephews and nieces Griffen, Boston, Ridge, and Riorson Davenport; and dear family friends Stephanie Myers and Robert Otts.
Mike’s warmth, talent, and kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he enriched.
