So sorry for the loss of Octavia. She was a special, loved person. We will definitely miss her. Have missed seeing her since she moved from Seminole. She taught both my girls at Bowlegs, and her and Pete were very good friends of ours. She was always helping at the Methodist Fund Raising Sales. Always had that Big, Pretty Smile !!! I first got acquainted with her when In High School at Bowlegs and her first year to teach there, when She came into our Shorthand and Typing Classes to speak with our Instructor, Joyce Taylor. She was Octavia Standridge at that time. So happy she was honored at the Alumni Banquet 2018. I had intended to attend her memorial, but due to circumstances, I was unable to. May the Holy Spirit help and comfort all. Betty Buchanan.
