Philip was a Navy Veteran, having served from 1944 to 1946. He received his bachelors in Finance from the University of Oklahoma and was a Certified Public Accountant. He was an avid reader who enjoyed fishing and collecting stamps.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sister Janet Monnig.
He is survived by his son, William Neilson & wife Yvonne; daughter, Vicki Baker & husband Randall; grandsons, Jason Watson and Travis Downs; granddaughters, Michelle Neilson and Katie Kamphaus & husband Ben; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be 12pm to 8pm, Wednesday, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm, Thursday, June 24, 2013, at Memorial Park Historic Cemetery Chapel with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
