We never met, but I’ve heard your name spoken with so much love. I know you were someone truly special. Rest gently 🤍

Taylor was always one of the coolest, yet genuinely nicest down to earth baddie growing up. I was lucky enough to share a handful of teenage memories and blessed beyond words to reconnect with her last year to play with chickens, go see a country show, and hear fun and spicy stories from her life. 

She truly had a way of making everyone feel included and seen. My heart goes out to all the many people who loved her fiercely and especially to her family who has touched everyone’s hearts by seeing them rally to no ends for their beloved girl. My deepest condolences.

Some touch our lives and leave a mark....  Be it a scar or lasting memory.   Too often life's journey is short, and all there is to hold to are memories.  Taylor was but a flash in the memories made, but her mark in the lives around her, will not be a scar, but a cherished memory...  May the end of her journey fill so many with good memories!  RIP now Taylor...  "You Got THIS!".

The massive Halloween parties were all Taylor. It is our favorite holiday and we loved the chaos of those get togethers.

When Taylor and I first moved in together, I asked if she wanted to go to a Kentucky Derby watch party at Remington. She had no idea what the Derby even was—but she was excited anyway, like she always was, about both the little things and the big ones.

I sat there waiting, watching her get ready. She looked absolutely stunning—big hat (of course), me in a bow tie. She didn’t realize the races were so short, so she took her time. By the time we got there, the event was over and the place was empty. But dang… we looked good.

She was so apologetic for “ruining the event,” but what she didn’t know was: I loved it that way. I’d take being all dressed up, laughing in a quiet room with her, over any crowd. She told me just about a month ago, “When I get out, we’ll do it again—and do it right this time.”

But you know what? I’m completely okay with how it turned out. We spent the day dressed to the nines, hopping around the city, her turning heads everywhere she went. And me? Just feeling lucky to be by her side.

There are some things, some moments, some beautifully strange or fiercely loving choices, that could and forever only be explained by saying: “That’s Taylor.”

Taylor didn’t walk through life trying to blend in. She owned who she was — fully, loudly, and unapologetically. And more than that, she made everyone around her feel safe to do the same. Whether you were quirky, quiet, dramatic, artistic, awkward, or just a little bit lost, Taylor had a way of saying, “Good. That’s exactly who you should be.”

What made her special wasn’t just what she did — it was the way she saw people. Taylor had this radar for authenticity. She celebrated people’s weirdness. She saw the things we sometimes tried to hide and loved us even more because of them. She didn’t believe in dimming her own light, and she didn’t want anyone else to dim theirs either.

She taught us that the parts of ourselves we sometimes felt unsure about might actually be our superpowers. “That’s Taylor.”

The world felt more vivid with her in it. Louder. Braver. Freer.

And now, even in this heartbreak, we carry her with us—every time we wear something bold, speak our minds, or stand up for someone made to feel small, we’ll feel her cheering us on.

From this moment on, as we walk through life and something unexpected, hilarious, or oddly perfect happens, we’ll smile and say, 'That’s Taylor.'

We loved her so deeply. In ways big and small, every single day. And that love will never end. Thank you, Taylor, for being you and for seeing me.

We had so much fun during our little photoshoots. I'm no professional but Taylor always humored me and let me pretend. I look at these photos often and am always taken aback at her beauty. She was always beautiful in such a way that even the stars in the sky were jealous

Taylor was a catalyst. A trajectory that altered everything she touched for the better. She was the first person who truly gave me the confidence to be who I was and not pretend to be just like everyone else. I still make ramen the way she taught me in 6th grade. I'll always aspire to be half as amazing as T was.

One more day with you, I was hoping to be able to take you out for Pho or Ramen. I kept praying for miracles and you got them. I just pictured you winning and growing old. You made the daylight brighter.  So funny and kind hearted.

We found this in a ghetto southside thrift store. It was beautiful and she looked gorgeous in it

On a cruise to the Caribbean with the Fletcher family, we went snorkeling with the Turtles, the Nurse Sharks, the beautiful colored fish and one special Mermaid. She had long flowing hair, a curvaceous  body and a long tail with a flipper on the end. She was swimming in and out, to and froe with the turtles. Oh, wait. That was Taylor.

How about Tay flying a plane on her Bday? She asked and they couldn't say no to that face.

Taylor, you did my hair for years, and with every appointment my life was full of more laughs, more color, and more joy. You were the person who motivated and inspired me to become a hairstylist, we shared a love of animals, and nine. You were truly an experience. I'm going to miss your smile, your stories, and your advice. You will always be in my memories and my heart. I love you.

Taylor was all that could be good in the world. She changed my life forever, and I miss her something fierce.
