

Theaopal Mae Richard was born May 16, 1930 in Edmond, OK, to parents John & Eva Lou (Clapp) Cantrell and passed from this life on May 27, 2013. She was the youngest daughter of 13 children; having 5 brothers and 7 sisters. A graduate of Britton High School, Theaopal was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and watching sports. She married Bert Richard, Sr., in 1947. She was committed to raising her children and was exceedingly proud of her grandchildren. She loved Jesus and her life reflected that love to others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers, and four sisters. She is survived by her children: Bert Anson Richard, Jr. & wife Jennifer, Eva Lou Cox & husband Charles, David Lee Richard & wife Diana, and Cindy L. Richard; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters: Jessie Maker, Gertie Simpson, and Thelma Dungan; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be 9am-8pm, Thursday, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2pm, Friday, at Memorial Park Historic Cemetery Chapel, with entombment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
