

William “Bill” Richard Jones, 69, passed away August 6, 2011, in Wilburton, OK. He was born April 3, 1942, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Robert Lee & Vivian Edwina Jones. He graduated from Midwest City High school in 1960. After high school, Bill joined the Air Force, and served his country proudly. He later worked in civil service at Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City.
He enjoyed putting puzzles together, studying math equations, cooking and looking forward to seeng his grandchildren. He was found every Saturday morning cooking breakfast at the Veteren’s colony and enjoyed spending time with the other residents.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Jones; mother, Edwina Case Foreman; and brother, Robert Allen Jones. He is survived by sons: Christopher & wife Kari Jones of Oklahoma City, OK, and Toby & wife Dynelle Jones of Princeton, TX; grandchildren: Emma, Jacob and Abigail Jones of Oklahoma City, OK, Alexis and Jessica Jones of Princeton, Tx; and his sister, Judith Kemler of Norman, OK. He will also be missed by his many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in his honor can be made to the Veteren’s Colony in Wilberton, OK or the Disabled American Veterans.
Funeral services will be 10am, Thursday, August 11, 2011, at Memorial Park Historic Cemetery Chapel with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
