He attended Classen High School and the University of Oklahoma. Bill established the very successful Springall Travel-Tour in 1963, which he sold in 2001 upon his retirement to Paradise Valley, AZ. He was a history buff and enjoyed his extensive world travels. He was an Eagle Scout. When 12 years old he received a Certificate of Heroism from the Boy Scouts of America, signed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, for saving a four year old boy from a burning car. Bill was also an avid Bridge player. He will be deeply missed by all of those who knew him.
Bill is survived by his wife, Ginny Springall; his 5 children, Anne Springall of Oklahoma City, Cathy McInturff (Ronnie) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Bert (Debbie) Springall of Oklahoma City, Jeff (Marilyn) Scroggins of Oklahoma City, Jen Scroggins of Boulder, Colorado; 7 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Storey Oaks Senior Living Facility of Oklahoma City.
An open visitation will be held on July 26 from Noon to 4:00 at Memorial Park funeral home, located at 13313 N. Kelley Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
