Edna Mae Skelton Walker, 90, of Olive Branch, MS, graduated into eternity on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. She leaves behind her loving husband of 71 years, Morris Earl Walker, as well as five children (Vernon Walker, Wanda Malone, Mildred Hicks, David Walker, and Marie Rice), 12 grandkids, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Edna was born in Indianola, MS. She worked by her husband’s side as real estate investors for 69 years. She taught her family to love the Lord, work hard, give generously, and love fiercely. She was happiest when she helped people, and most fulfilled when she gave to others in need.
We know Jesus is saying "Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!"
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 10:00 am with visitation an hour prior at Brantley Funeral Home. Burial will be at Philadelphia Cemetery in the Sunnydale Community near Step Rock, Arkansas at 3:00 pm.
