Andy was a good man with all of us at work and when we got together at the jazz concerts always the same person, quiet, honest. We will all miss him, may he rest in peace and God bless. Condolences to all his the family.

I honestly was very shocked when told the news, I really tried to convince myself it wasn’t true.. It had been so long since I’ve last seen you but I know you loved me just as much as I loved you.. You’re gone but you’re still here with me, watching over me.. Everything I do is for you, I will go 10x harder for all my goals because I know that’s what you’d want me to do.. You loved us all with everything in you, were very selfless and would do anything because that’s the person you are and I choose to live like you Papi.. My favorite memory is you taking Laila and I to the pool and just watching us have fun playing together and taking us to the strawberry festival every year; That is something I will always cherish, and your prickly beard😂😂 But Te quiero Papi, forever and always in my heart❤️

       I saw a quote that said "The hardest part about losing someone, isn't having to say goodbye, but rather learning to live without them. Always trying to fill the void, the emptiness that's left inside your heart when they go."
       My heart broke into one million pieces when I found out you were called home! and I know you are at peace now, but I am so very torn. What breaks my heart the most is that you and Carson will never get the chance to meet. I wish you could see him his smile is so wide and he is just as sweet as he can be. I cry in my alone time because I know I have to be strong for him, but this is so hard for me.
       I want to keep going, but this isn't as easy as I thought it would be. I would just like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything. I am so blessed to have known such a wonderful sweet spirit as yourself and even more blessed in having the honor to call you my Papí. I know that you are watching over me now and I promise I will not let you down. You will forever be in my heart and I promise to tell Carson all about you. Papi, I feel I’m at a true loss for words, like I was before when I received the news. You were taken from me on my birthday so now I share that day forever with you❤️🕊, we are FOREVER connected, we are one🤞🏽. You were never the loudest person in the room, yet you brought so much personality when you entered. You were the handiest man I know, could fix anything, so smart & full of life. You’ve truly lived through me, & all of us; thank you for raising my dad the way you did, I see alot of you in him. You were his bestfriend & vice versa. Thank you for always being so present in our lives, never missing anything from birthday’s, graduations, you were always there regardless, & I’m so sorry I couldn’t be there for you, I truly regret not doing everything I could💔.  You of all people were supposed to live forever💔, but you will forever in my heart Papi. 

I would do anything just to have one more Sunday Dinner with you like we always did when I was a kid, or even watch Martin & Wayans Bros. like we used too, ride in your Lac, or even just hug & let you know I love you one last time.

 I just hope to feel you around me forever. Papi I’m so sorry, & I love you. I’m heartbroken, but this reminds me to give the ones you love their flowers & all the love you can while they’re here. Pop, I am forever grateful that YOU ARE my  Father and I am so honored to be YOUR SON.  You raised me from 11 months old as your own.  That's a Real Man!  And it is because of your great example I am the type of Father I am today for my own children: Brandon, Lynsy, and Lyndyn.  We've shared so many great memories.  You were there for nearly every family function, from family reunions, family get togethers in Georgia and in Orlando,  to graduations, house warmings, home improvement projects you and I worked on together like painting, putting up perimeter fences, storage sheds, and putting down tile in my game room, hanging ceiling fans, and all the times you helped me whenever we had car trouble, to child births, to the countless Sunday dinners at our home prior to you getting remarried.  I remember the fun we had when we would go shopping for suits or when we attended Jazz festivals at Cranes Roost back in the days or going on cruises or attended the Post Office annual galas.   Thank you for relocating us to Orlando in 1988.  Additionally, I will always remember your wise counsel about life, being a man, and dealing with people.  I love Jazz, Richard Pryor, Cheech and Chong movies, Sade, and Cadillacs because of you.  You are my example of what COOL looks like.  Your legacy will live on through me, my brother and sister and your grandchildren.  MOST IMPORTANTLY, THANK YOU for being there for me in a real way back in February/March 2019 when I was hospitalized and almost died from double pneumonia.  EVERYONE told me "your Dad was there by your side without fail."  I can go on and on singing your praises.  Te Amo Pops! Rest in Heavenly Peace.  

Andy we will miss you,Thank You ,for being a great dad to our children and great granddad and great grand dad. I know our babies are hurting now but in time they will cherish all those wonderful memories you all shared. Papi, I love you . I’ll always remember waiting on you to make a trip  to Valdosta to stay with us . I counted down the days everytime . I was always ready for you to hug me tight and rub your beard against my face while you laughed . I loved to hear you laugh . I will never forget mom going  to get a bottle of Coke and Popeyes for you , that was always our meal on the first  night of your visit . Mom and I never wanted you to leave whenever we watched you pull off in your car we would always say we wish you could have stayed longer . Me Lynsy , Lyndyn , and Kennedy called ourselves “Papi’s Angel’s” but now you are our angel . You will forever live through us. I couldn’t wait to see you at my graduation in just two months ... but I know you will be there Papi because I know you wouldn’t miss it . I hope to feel you around me on that wonderful day . I will tell my kids and grandkids about you when the days come. I love you forever Papi ... my guardian angel . 👼🏽❤️

 You are the definition of a #girldad you were my best friend. We had an unbreakable bond a bond that will last forever.  I have absolutely no complaints you raised me to be strong and for that I am grateful. I am and will always be a daddy’s girl. This is hard but I know I did right by you in life and in death. I know how much you loved me and I know you know how much I loved you. I have so many memories I have been catching myself just laughing reminiscing about. Nobody was more real than you. You were a GREAT father, grandfather and friend. There are so many things I want to say writing this but it would be a book. So I will just say this in closing Vaya Con Dios, my love. Heavenly father I have come to you today with a heavy heart. Some one who was very dear me has left.He was more than a co-worker( for 20 years)he was like a brother,a friend.We talked a lot and I would make him laugh which was rare for him.We went to alot of cruises and jazz concerts.I’ll never

Andy, I loved you since the day I met you. You have been an amazing husband, the best one in the world. You didn’t talk much, I used to do all the talking, but you were a good listener. You would laugh at my silliness and call me silly. It’s amazing how we used to enjoy ourselves. It's always been just me and you. The love you gave me made me feel like the luckiest woman in the world. You was One in a million. You didn’t allow me to help with the dishes, vacuuming or sweeping even though I insisted to do it. You would always say it was your job. Going away cruising was one of our favorite pass time. We always had an amazing time. We used to laugh and carry-on as teenagers holding hands and during dinner you always requested a table for two. I will miss you forever! I thank God for the time he gave us to love each other. Till we meet again. My heart is yours. RIP my Love I love you ❤️ 

Remembering his wonderful and gentle soul will forever remain in the 💕s that knew  him. Andy was always willing to help anyone especially (lol) if it was a female. Always pleasant, smiling if u happen to be a person who could make him 😃. He will always be thought as  one of the nicest human being anyone would want to meet. May he rest in peace.

Andy was like a big brother to me he was kind, generous, nice and friendly he always was helping others he would had given his shirt off his back in order to help someone in need. Rest In Peace may you be in God  Glory Rejoicing with him you will be in our hearts  always🙏♥️
