Anna Sue Lanphear passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Orlando, Florida, on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. She was the devoted wife of Wallace Lanphear for 54 years, and widowed for the past 9 years.
Anna was born in Marlinton, West Virginia, on September 17, 1937, and grew up in Montgomery, West Virginia. Anna Sue was a loving mom and homemaker. She was extremely talented and gifted in many areas. Through the years, she worked as an interior designer, florist, and Realtor, among many other pursuits. She could create and design anything she put her mind to.
Anna Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Lanphear; her parents, Clyde and Jessie Jeffries; her brothers, Cyrus and Randy Jeffries; her sister, Sandra Poley; her daughter, Lisa Taylor; her grandsons, Ben Mallard and John Taylor; and her son-in-law, Chaz Burton.
She is survived by her brothers, Phill and Russell Jeffries (Pat Jeffries); her daughters, Lianne Youngblood (Jeff Youngblood) and Lori Burton Grays (Larry Grays); 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
A Funeral Service will be held at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill (2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL 32817) on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A Committal Service will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery (2400 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL 32817) from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
