Carmen M. Ares Mandry

Carmen M. Ares Mandry, 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 6, 2019. Carmen was born in Las Piedras, PR and lived in various states including Indiana, New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She settled in Central Florida in 1985. Carmen was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her life was centered around her daughters and grandson. She had a deep faith in her Heavenly Father and spread his word wherever she went. Prior to losing her vision she was a talented seamstress, enjoyed reading and helping others. She worked and retired from the State of Florida.

Carmen is survived by her two daughters; Carmen Weatherford (Dennis), Suzanne Lin (Lori) and her grandson David Amaro (Karla).

Her beautiful smile, caring and giving nature will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and loved by her family forever.

The family requests that persons attending her service wear bright colors to celebrate her life.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 10:00 am at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 Harrell Rd., Orlando, FL 32817. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to the Lighthouse of Central Florida, 2500 Kunze Ave., Orlando, FL 32806 or by visiting www.lighthousecfl.org
