Carmen Morales Arroyo, 77, of Orlando, Florida, passed away April 7, 2019. Her friends and family were by her side when she was called to be with the Lord. She was born to Carmen Arroyo and Juan Morales, on January 16, 1942 in Yauco, Puerto Rico and raised in a Roman Catholic home. She bore four children: Giovanni, Maritza, Maria del Carmen and Leonides. Throughout the years, she strived to give her children the best in life. She moved from New York to Florida in the late 90's . Her heart, her generosity knew no bounds. Her door was always open-literally. You could walk in and people often did; neighbors, friends, immediate family and relatives. They all knew they had a place to stay for a few minutes, a few hours or for a few days to enjoy her hospitality, generosity and her infamous cooking. She was a chef at heart! The door was always opened and the food was always plentiful. She donated much of her time to others. Sewing, crocheting, word puzzling and playing her numbers, her favorite was Pick #. She loved to give her time and always willing to give a bit more. She was truly selfless and will always be remembered. Carmen is survived by her 3 kids, Giovanni Morales, Maria de Carmen and Leonides Mateo; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
