My brother I can’t believe it’s been a year since you passed… last night I was reading our conversations and listening to a few of the audios you sent me and hearing your voice was very hard but the advice you gave me it’s something I will never forget. Their precious family became part of our church in Germany. Soon Danny volunteered to be part of the cleaning ministry. At the end of November, we cleaned together. He came straight from the gym, full of energy, focused. Such a wonderful person! The type, one immediately likes, simply muy simpatico. 

It is a great loss to not have Daniel Kreth walk on Earth anymore!

Our prayers are for his family. May God give you peace upon peace and may He Himself lead you, by the hand, through this time. 


I’m sorry I can’t be there today friend. It’s hard to find the words, the last few weeks have been spent trying to just get over the shock of it. We used to butt heads like crazy, you pushed me and challenged me in ways that exhausted and confused me. I realized later why, and was so grateful for it. You believed I was capable of literally anything in this world, and it to this day blows my mind the unwavering faith and belief you had in me. One day outside the ALOC you talked to me not as my boss or leader, but as someone who genuinely care about me and my future. That day changed things, and I finally understood you. I’m glad I was able to leave fort bliss with you as a friend and I hope you knew how grateful I am for everything you’ve done for me. I’ll be honoring you in whatever what I can and praying that love surrounds your lovely family. Rest easy. ❤️

My favorite memory with Kreth was when I first came to C 3/25. We were doing PT and he asked me how old I was. This was 2011 so I told him I was 34. I asked about the 2 mile run route so we went for a jog and he showed me the route. On the way back I decided to slowly pick up my pace to test his speed and endurance. He hung in there and when we finished we were both exhausted.  Just to act tough I said, "Hey man. Let's run it again but for real this time. I want to see where I am at." The look on his face was the look a kid gets when you take their candy or ice cream. He had a serious "Boo Hoo" face. It made me laugh. Every time we ran into each other we would always catch up on things. He was a good man that cared about everyone and I will miss him. Thank you.

A good man, a good soldier.  Rest now brother.

Hermana Kreth, estamos agradecidos a Dios por haber conocido al hermano Kreth.  Fue un tiempo hermoso aquí con ustedes y con las niñas aquí en el El Paso, Tx.  Recuerdo el delicioso plato de “verengena” que preparo hermano Kreth con tanto amor para nosotros.  Fue una bendición!  Un hombre muy respetuoso y fiel a Dios fue el hermano.  Se le estraña mucho.  Hermana siempre recuerde esto es solo un temporal adiós, pronto lo veremos.   Con mucho amor de parte de Gilbert y Lulú Rascón 

Danny aunque ya estas en un mejor lugar nos dejas un vacio inmenso, gracias por abrirnos las puertas de tu hogar y de tu corazon, siempre te admire por tu gran carisma y siempre dispuesto a darnos una sonrisa,  mi esposo y yo te llevaremos por siempre en nuestro corazon jamas te olvidaremos. Descansa en paz gran amigo!

Danny, it is with so much sadness to know that you are no longer here; there is an emptiness in my heart that will never be filled.  You did so much good in your life, but never realized how many people you helped, and the love that others had for you.
