Darlene Mary Helton, 78, of Orlando, passed away March 1, 2026. She was born March 4, 1947, in The Bronx, New York, and graduated from Roosevelt High School. She married Rudy Helton on September 3, 1983.
Darlene worked as a greeter at Seven Brothers Restaurant in Yonkers, NY, and later became a manager at an apartment complex after moving to Orlando. She had a passion for prayer, helping lost souls, and caring for animals.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Rudy Helton; her brother, Johnny Liddle (Eileen); cousins Melissa Chuney, Amanda Kelly, and Tina Centouri; her niece, Valarie Visconti; and her nephew, James Little.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on March 16, 2026, at Chapel Hill Cemetery , 2400 Harrell Road, Orlando, Florida 32817
