Born on March 5, 1947, in Lajas, PR, Dilson graduated from high school and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army before continuing his commitment to public service with the New York City Police Department.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Annie; his children, Dilson Jr., Jason, Matthew, Jonathan, and Eric; and his cherished grandchildren, Julian, Marisol, Mia, Jaiden, Jason Jr., Rhett, Dakota, Parker, June, and Hazel.
Visitation will be held at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill, 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL 32817, US, on May 11, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
A graveside service will be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Q44J+Q9, Mims, FL 32754, US, on May 12, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
