She was the matriarch of our family. Her laughter and happy demeanor was the life of the party. Her home was always spotless and always look for ways to help others. She would always cook extra food just in case unexpected visitors arrived which was not uncommon at our home. If nothing was cooked and someone mentioned they were hungry she would start cooking regardless of the time and regardless how much they objected. She would even cook lunch for the county workers when the street they lived on underwent a major resurfacing project. Regardless of the limited monetary resources she had, she would always find a way to send money to family members in need of assistance. Her selflessness and caring spirit inspired others to be better.

She was kind and stern when the occasion called for it. She did chase some people out of her home and off her property, but we will leave the details of those situations with the family. She was the most caring mom you could wish for, but she was also the disciplinarian when needed. The four sons tested her often, and deserved everything she could tossed their way including chancletas. She also spoiled her grandchildren. They could do no wrong. Unfortunately, Parkinsons prevented her from doing the same for most of her great grandchildren. She celebrated all our occasions with laughter and tears of joy. She was our life!

A wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, mother-in-law, friend. She was a special human being that touched many lives and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband Alfredo their son, Luis, his wife Anna, their son Luisito and daughter Annmarie. Her son Orlando, his wife Giorgina, son Nicholas and daughter Sara. Son Oscar, his wife Carmen, sons Oscar, and Samuel. Her son Raul, his girlfriend Sandra, his daughter Ariella, sons Esteban and Joel. Her daughter Nelly. She is also survived by her sister Elba, brothers Pedro and Eduardo. She was blessed to have 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

We will miss you and will love you always!
