She met her handsome GI husband on Sembach Airforce Base in Germany, where she worked as a telephone operator. They married June 14, 1958, and recently celebrated 63 years of marriage.
Helga was a member of the Cosmopolitan Club of Orlando, where she loved meeting with her friends from many different countries. She also enjoyed meeting for lunches with her former Winter Park Telephone/United Telephone/Sprint friends, where she worked for 25 years, before retiring in 1998.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Maud, brother, Horst, and her beloved sons, Perry Roland and Gordon Ralph. Surviving in addition to her husband, Robert Webb, are her daughter, Diesta (Gundacker) and her husband Charlie of Winter Park; daughter, Michell Fisher, of Winter Park; son, Allen Fisher and his wife Debra of Winter Springs; daughter, Monica (Laliberte) and her husband David of Raleigh, NC; and 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Helga’s family was her “everything”. She told everyone she met!
A service of remembrance will be held @ 12 Noon on Monday, Sept 6, 2021 at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 Harrell Rd, Orlando. As red was a favorite color of Helga’s, you may choose to wear something red.

She deeply loved Tempo, a very special Golden Retriever from CCI.org, and supported their mission and the involvement of Diesta and Monica in training these very special service animals.
