John Everette Owens, Sr., age 83, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025. He was born in Winston Salem, North Carolina on August 29, 1941. He was married to Karen Owens on June 19, 1978. John had a career as a butcher. His passions included fishing, gardening, family and church.
John is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Lundy, Kristene Owens, and Jonnalee Owens; grandchildren, Noah Butt, Kaleb Lundy, Trystan Butt, Devan Lundy, Wyatt Lundy, Weston Sanders, and Jaydence Kercado; siblings, Marvin Owens Jr, Jerry Owens, Kay Blakely, and Marsha Agee.
A celebration of life service for John will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Faith Free Will Baptist Church, 15180 Old Cheney Hwy, Orlando, FL 32828. Following the celebration of life service will be a committal service from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, Florida 32817.
