Juan Nerin Vandesspool

Juan Vandesspool was born May 26, 1954, in Rio Piedras, the son of John Felix Vandesspool and Felicita Gonzalez. Juan grew up in Puerto Rico and moved to New York City at age 16. In NYC, Juan met his wife Teresa, and they started their family. In 1995, Juan moved his family to Orlando, Florida.

As a devoted father, Juan was always there to offer guidance, love, and a hearty laugh. He cherished family gatherings, and his presence at holidays and celebrations brought warmth and joy to those around him. Juan had many passions in life, but he was most passionate about his position as Pastor of Camino Al Cielo Pentecostal Church. He found great joy preaching to his congregation and playing the conga during service.

Juan is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Vandessppoll, his children, Juan Nevin Vandesspool, Angel F. Vandessppoll, Yajaira Vandessppoll, and Giovani Garcia and eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and his two paw friends Baby and Cici. He is also survived by his seven siblings and many nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly.

A service to celebrate Juan Vandesspool’s life will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 2:30pm. At Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL, 32817.
