Laura Mercedes Bocanegra Campana, 89, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on December 26, 2019. She was born in Isabela, Puerto Rico and moved to Central Florida in 1978. Most of her life was spent as a telegraph operator with her family. When she moved to Central Florida, she worked as a hotel receptionist.
Laura was a beautiful soul who spread contagiously happiness everywhere she went. She was supportive, pleasant, incredible kind and always helping people with a smile on her face.
She loved hosting family and friends for all the holidays, preparing her special meals for them. Her home was always opened. Laura loved to dance, cook and take long road trips.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Eric and Diana Millan; daughter, Sharon Campana; siblings, Francisco and Estrella Bocanegra; six grandchildren, Laura Millan, Eric Millan, Erica Rodriguez, Thomas Diaz, Christian Diaz, and Chloe Diaz; and 2 great grandchildren, Alex and Madison.
