Maria M Rodriguez

Our beloved Mama, Abuela, Maria Rodriguez 97, left this earth on February 8th, 2023, in Fishers, IN and is peacefully resting in the sacred arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. Maria was born in Pontezuela, Santiago in the Dominican Republic on September 15, 1925. Maria is survived by her children Ana H(Carlos), Celeste W(Kevin), Victoria, Jose. Her grandchildren: Rolandito, Oscar, Fernando, Edwin, Shanie, Claudia, Diana, Sandra, Carolina A(Gregory), Carlos (Alexa), Ashley, Wesley, Gloria, Ashligh, Shyanna, 11 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by many siblings, cousins and friends.

She was known for her hospitality, good cooking and her faith in God. Her life was focused on her family, church and helping others. Maria helped bring life as a midwife in Dominican Republic, and later moved to New York and became a business owner. In her final year she was surrounded by family, and friends and her great-grandchildren Mariana, Destiny, Elijah. She was loved, cherished and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by Antonio Liardo (Spouse), Rolando (Son)

Nuestra amada María Melania Rodríguez a la edad de 97 años, partió con el señor el 8 de febrero de 2023 en Fishers, IN. María nació en Pontezuela, Santiago en la República Dominicana el 15 de septiembre de 1925. Le sobreviven sus 4 hijos, hermanos y hermanos, 15 nietos, 11 bisnietos y 1 tataranieto. También le sobreviven muchos hermanos, primos y amistades.

Era conocida por su hospitalidad, buena comida y su fe en Dios. Su vida se centró en su familia, la iglesia y ayudar a los demás. María fue partera en República Dominicana y luego se mudó a Nueva York y se convirtió en propietaria de un negocio. En su último año siempre estuvo rodeada con familia, amistades y sus bisnietos Mariana, Destiny, Elijah. Ella fue muy amada, apreciada y será extrañada. Le precedieron en la muerte Antonio Liardo (cónyuge), Rolando (hijo)

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 1pm - 3pm at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill located 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, Florida 32817 followed by a burial at 3pm at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
