You are missed everyday by your friends. RIP Marilyn.

So many tears, learning of your passing. My sincere condolences to Amy, Laurie, Stacey and Sheila.  

Tremendous feelings of sadness and loss when I learned of Marilyn’s and Bruce’s passing.   For many years, Marilyn was a precious friend. Amy, Laurie, Stacy, my deepest condolences to you. Both your parents were good people. May you know their love for you will live on in you.   Rip.

Marilyn was such a welcoming neighbor when Ed and I moved in across the street in 1997. Over the years we enjoyed many good times, especially our Halloween parties and lunches. She always had a positive outlook and offered a helping hand if there was anything we needed.  Even when her health declined, she would manage a smile and ask how I was doing when I visited  and she would keep me updated about her grandchildren. She was a beautiful person and will be missed very much.

Garland Crabtree,  my brother,  is Marilyn's son-in-law.  I met Marilyn and her family when they all came to Garland's house for a swim party. At that time Garland and Amy were dating. I enjoyed meeting Marilyn and discovered we were the same age. She was fun to be with and made me feel like a friend from the start. Later on, after Garland and Amy were married,  I learned that Amy was born the year I got married.  Ironically,  I can always remember Marilyn  and Amy's ages...but not my own two sons' ages! Whenever I was in town to visit my brother's family, Marilyn made a point to try and get together with me. She was such a gracious lady and made me always feel like family. Marilyn, you will be sorely missed.
