Mary Hopkins

Mary E Hopkins, age 90, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026 at Conway Lakes Health and Rehab Center in Orlando, FL. She was born January 7, 1936 in Mullins, SC. She was married to Gregory P Hopkins (of Baltimore, MD) for 46 years until his passing in 2002. She was an active Navy wife to a Command Master Chief SMCM. Mary worked as an administrative assistant doing notaries and title work for Hollers Chevrolet until her retirement.

Mary is survived by her three children, Norma Beyer (and husband Robert), Gregory Hopkins II, and Thomas Hopkins (and wife Jennifer). She is also survived by her six grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Mary was known as ‘Lisa’ by her many devoted friends, whom she never forgot during her journey of declining health this past year. She was also well known for her southern hospitality….she always could make you feel special in a matter of minutes. Mary dearly loved everyone in our family and enjoyed our many excursions, with Sanibel Island being her favorite! Family and friends will always remember Mary (Lisa) for her loving kindness and acceptance. Everyone consistently told us “I love your mother”.

Visitation will be held at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill, 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL 32817, US, on June 9, 2026, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location on June 9, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A Graveside Service will take place at SE Cemeteries of Florida DBA Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 HARRELL RD, ORLANDO, FL 32817, US, on June 9, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
