In her early years, she was deeply involved in her community and devoted countless hours to supporting local organizations. She was involved with Demolay, where she printed newsletters and silk-screened softball and basketball team jerseys. A dedicated and hardworking woman, while working full-time. She was admired for her incredible work ethic and unwavering commitment to her family. Her children could always count on an early morning bugle sound to make sure they were awake and ready for the day. Family dinners were filled with laughter, and she became famous for playfully tossing rolls and potatoes across the table to loved ones.
Music brought her great joy throughout her life. She played both the violin and piano and later shared her talent playing the viola in her church orchestra, enriching worship through her gift of music.

She was also an avid crafter and spent many happy years creating alongside her dear friend, Lois Bower. Together they made stuffed animals, Christmas ornaments, aprons, potholders, and handmade toys, proudly selling their creations at craft fairs and Church Street Station. Their friendship was filled with creativity, laughter, and cherished memories.
An exceptionally talented seamstress, she could alter or repair just about anything. She lovingly created both Cindy's and Julie's wedding gowns, along with their bridesmaids' dresses, pouring her skill and love into every stitch. Her craftsmanship became part of treasured family memories that will be cherished for generations.
In quieter moments, she enjoyed cheering on her beloved Tampa Bay Rays, rarely missing the chance to watch a game. Whether through her service, creativity, music, kindness, or devotion to family, she lived a life marked by generosity and love.
