She worked at Planation Inn Hotel for many years before migrating to Chicago, in 1966. She then moved to New York, where she was joined by her husband Lewis (who preceded her in death in 2006) and children Ann and Bernard.
She worked at St. Mary's Hospital for Children for many years until she retired in 1999, relocating to Orlando, Florida. Her passions were shopping on HSN and QVC for Capodimonte collectibles, dolls, items for her family and gardening.
She was a nurturing and caring person who was always on the phone to make sure her family and friends were doing well.
Pearl will sadly be missed by her Son, Bernard (Jamaica) and Daughters: Ann, Laverne and step-daughter Joan. Grandchildren: Richard, Clinton, Sean, Yohannes, Andrew, Ramien, Damel, Keon, Jamelia, Jahzara, Eshan and Brinay; many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. She was the last remaining sibling.
