Regina M. Dea, age 83, passed away at her home on June 10, 2019, in Kissimmee, Florida. Jeannie, as she was known to her family and friends, was born February 7, 1936 in Vineland, New Jersey to Ralph Herbert Dea and Regina Marie O'Brien. Jeannie graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. She pursued a Master Degree in Criminal Justice while raising her children. Jeannie enjoyed reading, listening to classical music and traveling. As the wife of a military officer, she was able to live in Germany, Hawaii and various places in the United States. Jeannie created some special memories of her travels throughout Europe. She had a particular love of animals to include her dog, Kiki and her two cats, Baby and Oscar. Jeannie is preceded in death by her son, Carl H. Holtz; her brother, Ralph Dea and sister, Patricia Fillius. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Smith (Mike) of Tobyhanna, PA.; Her Daughter, Debra Friedli (John) of Grand Rapids, Michigan; her son, William Gleisberg (Christina) of Eilat, Israel; her two grandsons, Aiden Gleisberg (Charlie) of Denver, Colorado and Adam Friedli (Anne) of Grand Rapids, Michigan; plus several nieces and nephews and extended family. Per Jeannie's wishes, only a private burial service for the family will be held at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Orlando, Florida. She will be laid to rest next to her son, Carl.
