He had an interest in becoming a doctor and was pre-med student . However his destiny took a turn with a career in business .
At a very young age he married Elisa on May 9, 1957 and had five children, Annabelle, Carlos , Theresa , Cecile and Christopher.
They decided to migrate to the United States in 1972 and started a new life in New York City. Determined and very ambitious he worked two jobs and also started his own business in import and exporting furniture and sporting goods .
He and Elisa were both committed to their jobs and family . As the children went on their own they decided to start a new business venture in the Philippines and opened several dialysis centers . After years of hard work they became very successful entrepreneur.
Sergio was married to Elisa for 65 years with nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was the Pillar of the Castro family . A loving and wonderful father who was always there and good provider for his family .
