Steven M Berg

Steven was born on September 19, 1952, in Harvard, Illinois.

He was raised in Illinois but spent most of his adult life in Florida.

A man of deep faith, he was a devoted Baptist whose life reflected his strong religious beliefs.

A proud patriot, Steven enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving his country with honor.

He married Mary Justice, and together they built a life.

Steven and Mary opened their hearts and home to many foster children over the years, providing care, stability, and compassion to those who needed it most.

Steven is survived by his wife, Mary Berg; his daughter Alyssa; his beloved mother, Mary Ellen Berg; his brothers Howard Berg (Irene), Alan Berg (Veralee), and Ron Berg (Liz); and his sister, Diane Berg-Esterabadi (Marc).

He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom were touched by his warmth and kindness.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gale Berg; his sister, Donna Berg-Burkholder; and his brother, Dennis Berg.

Steven’s legacy is one of quiet strength and unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
