“Mimi”, as she was affectionately called by her seven grandsons and those around her, was a devoted and caring wife, sister, mother, grandmother and everybody’s ‘best-friend-forever’. She was - and always will be - a true inspiration for all who knew her for dedicating herself to the well-being and happiness of others, and generously spreading her love among relatives, a wide circle of loyal friends, and the strangers she’d meet at the grocery store. Teresita lived a happy life, because she made it so. Full of positive energy, joy and laughter, she always brought out the best in people… offering encouragement, sympathy and forgiveness to those who needed it.
Mimi was truly special. With the unwavering support of her husband, she was the foundation for raising a close and remarkable family - her proudest achievement. She was also admired for providing generous support to her mother, siblings and neighbors, and volunteering in various capacities at the church and the children’s schools. Teresita will be deeply missed by all, but never forgotten.
A memorial Mass will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Orlando at 10:00 am on September 3, followed by a burial service at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill.
