This news really saddens me. My condolences to the family.
My mom and aunt had a really had a really bad train accident in the mid 70s in Belle Glade and they both remember Bill as a good supervisor that cared for his employees. Bill along with another supervisor went and visit my mom and aunt at the hospital... I can't say many would do that now in days. But, Bill's stories of when my mom and aunt worked at the crate house for Duda that always amused me. He always had a story to tell and what great memory he had.

You will be missed Bill.

💕It was with great sadness that we received the devastating news that my sweet cousin Richard had passed away.
Richard was a very friendly, caring and thoughtful person. Just a kind soul and great human his Mother!
I am remembering the few times we got together when I lived in Florida and enjoyed just talking about so many things with him and we kept in touch later - mainly at Christmas time and it saddens me that he won’t get to make it after all to any more family reunions, as we talked about every year. He was kind enough to spend quite a bit of time with me on the phone getting all his family’s information together for Ancestery.
Life is short... and you always have great intentions to go visit your loved ones and I’m sorry that we didn’t make that happen. He is without pain or illness now and in the presence of people that have loved him all his life. Until we see each other again....xoxo 💕

From all of the Ferdas to include Betty, Brian, Barbara, Beverly, and Bill (John our dad, and Johnny our brother who have passed) send our condolences to your family. The Ferdas are very special people and will never forget the days when Pauline and Richard and family would visit Wellsburg for our reunions and how we loved to sit and talk and hear all about Florida. I have posted a photo for the family of one of our family reunions to see how large the family has grown! Richard always loved them and playing horseshoes with our father! God bless all of you and we pray for your strength to get through this time. Sincerely -- Beverly (Ferda) Wilker

When Pauline was my neighbor, we used to share stories over yard work. It was always such a blessing to see Richard drive up in his pickup to help Pauline with all of her yard work and cleaning. The two of them worked together often. A wonderful friendship between mother and son. When they were finished the yard was sparkling and then into the house to accomplish more. His ready smile and easy talking manner were a ray of sunshine.

Richard was always a great son when our parents were alive and he was a wonderful brother and friend. He will be greatly missed, especially those four hour phone calls every week! May you rest in peace with your parents, brother and the rest of the family that has gone before you.
