Yvonne attended Central Missouri State University, where she met Reavis “Andy” Manking. They married in 1947, and had two daughters, Celeste Simon and Claudia Hafich. Andy’s career with International Harvester took them abroad where they lived in France, the Philippines and Denmark. Yvonne and Andy retired to Winter Park in 1981.
Yvonne lived a very full life, was a faithful member of the Winter Park Presbyterian Church and enjoyed being a member of the Winter Park Racket Club, tennis and bridge were a lifelong passion.
Yvonne is survived by her two daughters, her grandson Jason Simon, and her five great grandchildren. A private family memorial will be held in the future.
