My condolences to your family.  Alex, you were an amazing man with many talents, likes, and friends.   I will miss going to the library with you most of all.  Your passion for reading and audio books went beyond yourself, you brought enjoyment to your roommates by reading to them as well.   The librarians at the Central Library on 87th loved seeing you and everyone there seemed to know you by name.  I will miss you.

Prayer and time help us overcome our grief.

I Always looked forward to Friday's knowing I would get to see Alex and his smile. He got so much joy out of cashing his hard earned pay check, collecting his 3 lollipops for "Alex, mom and dad in car", and buying candy for each person working. After personally delivering candy to each person, he would giggle and run out the door with a big grin on his face. We will miss the sunshine that he brought us every week. My hope is that his family can find comfort in knowing he is now with the Lord, happy and free of worry.

Ken and Janet - We are praying for you both and are so sorry for you.    Ben told us how sad they all were at work.  Ben was telling us how he loved K State and the Chiefs.  Alex  had fun razzing others about beating the Broncos. I smile when I think of him.     There was never a time that I saw him (since he was 5 years old) that he did not smile and try to make others smile.  He was a real charmer.  "Ben's mom?"  is what he would say when I went to JCDS.  I have a picture of that great group from my first year at Trailwood.  It is up in my present classroom above my desk.  I still smile when I look at those precious kiddos.  He will be missed.
