Brenda Sue (Davis) Smith, 62, of Overland Park, KS, passed away June 4, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family. Brenda was born September 28, 1949 in Dublin, TX. She graduated from Valdosta (GA) High School in 1968. In 1972, she graduated from Texas Women’s University with a BA in Fine Arts. She later made her home in the Kansas City area. She is preceded in death by her mother, Dwindolyn Davis; father, James Davis, Jr.; sister, Martha Cole; and daughter-in-law, Stephanie O’Toole. She is survived by her husband, Jeffery Smith; two sons, Keith O’Toole, Danny O’Toole and wife Gladis; two daughters Christa Morrow, Heather Wright and husband Tommy; two sisters, Judy Grounds and husband Jim, Linda Baker and husband Ed; and 7 grandchildren. Visitation will be from Noon to 2:00pm, Thursday, June 7, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00pm, at the McGilley & Hoge Chapel, Overland Park, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
