Carol Jean Caswell, 83, of Wellsville, Kansas passed away April 10, 2016 at the Wellsville Retirement Community. She passed from the results of a stroke she suffered June 18, 2015. She was born March 9, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Jennie Saviano. On July 4, 1958, she married Harold J. Caswell in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together, they started their family in Indio, California. From there, they moved to Covina, California then on to Shawnee, Kansas; Stockton, Missouri; Eustis, Florida, then back to Overland Park, Kansas. Eventually, they moved into Wellsville Retirement Community.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Harold joiner Caswell.
She is survived by her daughter, Ellen Elaine; son, H. Jim Caswell and wife, Mary; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; a brother, John Saviano and his family.
Her memorial service and the scattering of her ashes at Stockton Lake, Missouri will be determined by the family and held at a later date.
